Dr. Hussein Zanaty

Dr. Hussein ZANATY is a multifaceted professional renowned for his contributions to innovative education, international cooperation, experienced in qualifying and preparing students for pre-university education in the skills of decision-making, analysis, critical thinking, knowledge exploration, and ways to manage the future through interactive courses and international projects with Japanese students.

In his role as the Executive Director of the Arab-Japanese Center of the League of Arab States, Dr. Zanaty plays a pivotal role in bridging the cultural and diplomatic gap between Arab and Japanese communities. His leadership drives initiatives that promote mutual understanding and critical thinking, contributing significantly to regional harmony and global leadership.

Dr. Zanaty’s visionary spirit extends to founding and serving as the Honorary President of the TANQ Arab Academy in Japan, aimed at simplifying human and life sciences, exploration, and creativity. Through this institution, he fosters interdisciplinary learning and innovation, nurturing a new generation of scholars, thinkers and decision makers.

As the Executive Director of the Egyptian-Japanese Friendship Association, Dr. Zanaty is committed to fostering enduring relationships and strategic alliances between Egypt and Japan. His efforts in promoting cultural exchange and mutual prosperity have strengthened ties between the two nations, enhancing cooperation on various fronts.

Dr. Zanaty's academic prowess is evident through his academic credentials, holding a Ph.D. in information technology engineering with a focus on digital learning and critical thinking from Kitami University in Japan, complemented by a Master’s degree in education from Heidelberg University, Ohio, USA. His educational background equips him with a unique blend of technical expertise and pedagogical insight.

Acknowledged for his exemplary contributions, Dr. Zanaty has received prestigious accolades such as the Best Foreigner in social work and qualifying and preparing students as future leaders from the Japanese National Association for Good Deeds. Additionally, he has been honored with the Best Educational Development Idea award from the Foundation for Excellence "Tamayoz" in Saudi Arabia and received recognition from His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Prince of Riyadh.

Dr. Zanaty's dedication to environmental sustainability is evident in his role as the Coordinator of World Environment Programs for the Middle East at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Artificial Intelligence, Chukyo University, Toyota City, Japan. He spearheads initiatives addressing environmental challenges, contributing to a more sustainable future for the region.

His efforts in strengthening international educational, academic, and social relations have been acknowledged with the Kitami City Governor’s Award in Japan. His workshops have been honored in Japanese universities, diplomatic events at Japanese embassy in Egypt and the League of Arab States. Dr. Zanaty's commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding is further demonstrated through his involvement as a founding member of the Egyptian Scholars Abroad Foundation, the Egypt Can Foundation and the League of Arab States conferences.

Recognized as a leader in mindset development, Dr. Zanaty was honored with the Best Educational Development Award at the UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development in Japan. He has also pioneered Japanese-Arab academic twinning programs in basic and higher education, fostering meaningful community building and better thinkers.

Dr. Zanaty's diverse experiences include serving as a former supervisor with the Japanese JICA Foundation in Egypt, where he evaluated Japanese activities in Egyptian-Japanese schools, contributing to the enhancement of educational initiatives. Moreover, he has shared his expertise as a speaker at the Arab-Japan Round Table and sustainable development conferences of the League of Arab States.
